Re: SCX (My at-X Box)

Just thought I would say that SCX, (My 2.4 GHz AT-X Box), is still my main machine, (with three Boot Partitions available on 5 HDDs - 2 in Hot Swap Trays), and it continues to run PERFECTLY RELIABLY !!!

Re: Recommended motherboards

Ideally, for best results, you want a K6-3+ processor. They will easily clock up to 600 MHZ, which is what you need to watch videos. I know NOTHING about the type of board that you have found, so I can't say if it is good or not. The local store I went to has plenty of K6-2 500 processors, but they ...

Re: Recommended motherboards

I went to that store today, and they didn't have any K6 motherboards now. But I think I have a spare P5A-B Rev 104, if that might interest you. Well, I checked my shelves, and I have : A P5A-B Rev 103 that I am not using. A P5A-B Rev 104 that I am not using. A P5A-B Rev 105 that I am not using. My "...

Re: Recommended motherboards

If you want, I will go down to that store and check to see if they have another P5A board for sale. If they do, I can mail it to you, if you like.

Re: Recommended motherboards

I bought a P5A for a guy in Bulgaria, not so long ago. Cost me $ 25.00 at a store here in Toronto. Used one though, but it worked fine.

Re: This place is still going that awesome.

Hi Monaro, Yeah its still running thanks to Nohr. Me, I still have a K6-3+ machine that runs ok, though my main machine now is a socket 775 with 4 Gig of RAM, an Intel 2.4 GHz Quadcore, an ATI 4850 video card, and a Sound Blaster Audigy sound card. I built it back in 2009 but it still works fine. As...

Re: Downloads section permanently down...?

The "Downloads Section" was closed when they changed the forum in general, making changes to block "Spammers". You found the post I made where you can download PCR Files, and if you need "WPCredit" and "WPCredit Set" or any other item you might want, send me a PM with your email address, and I'll se...

Re: Anyone try K6II-233 on Windows 8, yet?

Windopes 7, and 8 are pieces of trash from "Moron Sh-t" as far as I am concerned. I am sticking with XP-Pro until I am forced to switch to Linux, unless Windopes smartens up and brings out a new OS comparable with XP-Pro.
