You didn't mention your O/S. Older versions of Windows (95) needed a patch to run K6 chips faster than 350 MHz.
Here's a link
other than that, yeah...K6 chips weren't exactly known for their overclocking.

Fuji...
I don't have a whole lot to add on newer tech., but I can give you some general experiences... I own a Fuji 2600, and have purchased an A205 for my grandparents. The two are extremely similar in operation and spec. The flash is weak (like most inexpensive cameras), so an indoor shot really needs to ...

Thanks!
Relay, Thanks for the info. I guess I should have clarified my needs. The fan iteself is not actually for PC use, but rather to replace a fan unit for an inflatable costume (such as the one found here ). So, carrying around a bulky battery wasn't really an option. They come with a 6v DC 80mm fan, wh...

punkrawker82, Thanks for the reply. I considered the same thing, but thus far have not been able to find a container. If you happen to find a link in your travels, please post it for me. AA batteries are actually 1.5v each...so I guess the question is what happens when you run a 12v fan at 6v? I'd a...

Jumper settings...
punkrawker82, To the best of my knowledge, you can't set voltage on the fly with that particular chip/board. However, I believe you may be looking at the wrong set of jumpers. Looking at your manual, I see the following: VIO Jumpers (VIO0 and VIO1) - deals with DRAM, Chipset and AGP voltage. Should ...

battery operated 80mm fan....
All, I have need for an 80mm fan that is battery operated. I'm not sure such an item exists, but figured the more people checking the better. I'm not an electronics wiz, but I assume a standard 80mm fan could be converted to run off a 9v or a couple AA batteries given the right configuration. Anybod...

Well, I'm actually looking to upgrade perphrials next. A digital camera, USB 2.0 scanner and a halfway decent printer are on my list. If the price of DDR would go down, I guess that'd be next from what's listed....

I never really was a "cutting edge" type guy. I stay ahead of the cu...
