I'm selling my FIC VA-503+ with an AMD K6-2 450 and for a little more, some PC 100 RAM (192 megs).
If you are interested, shoot me an e-mail. I'm looking for around $30 for the motherboard cpu combo, but the price is negotiable.
Thanks

Old Case Connectors
It's a Serial Mouse.
Windows 98 recognized the COM ports as one and two. I even tried pluggig to serial mice in together and neither worked.

Old Case Connectors
I've got an old server case that I've put a FIC VA-503+ in. Only problem is that the case connectors are not labelled, but they do have colors. So far I turn the computer on and the speaker beeps so I know the power switch and speaker are correct. However, there is one long beep followed by two shor...

Installing my new K6-3+ CPU
Well I've got the CPU running at 550mhz (2.1v at 5.5x) and it's at about 38C at heavy load so I'm satisfied.
The PC133 RAM seems to be working stable and the difference in performance is noticable.
Should I disable onboard cache?[/quote]

Installing my new K6-3+ CPU
Just got a K6-3+ 450mhz ACZ CPU to put in my P5A-B Rev. 1.04. I'm wondering if there are any special settings I need to change. My old CPU was a K6-2 400mhz. I have the latest BIOS from the German ASUS FTP site and I'm going to buy a new 250 watt Coller Master CPU. Would I be able to install a GF2 M...

P5A-B/FIC 503+
I own the P5A-B with a K6-2 400mhz CPU. I was able to get a FIC 503+ and a K6-3+ 450 together for around $40 shipped. I really only wanted the CPU but figured what the heck just take the mobo. My question is which CPU would fit better with each board? As of now I'm probably going to stick the K6-3 i...

Speaking of a new PSU, do I need one that is backwards compatible with this K6-2 system? If not then I might as well get a powerful one for my newer system and move my Antec 350 to th...

P5A-B RAM Upgrading
I've got a K6-2 400 CPU in there and I'm running Windows XP. I run several apps at once and was wondering if it was worth it to upgrade to 768 megs of ram since I found a good deal on some.
Thanks...
I know that the cache is low, but with win xp would it be beneficial to have more? Thanks.
