Re:Does the new Radeon driver fix the Agp texturing problem?

Good question! I would like to know this as well. I recently built a K7 box, that now houses the Radeon card. MY AGP texturing problem has gone away. ...

Re: does anyone know the power draw of a radeon VE ddr 32meg

Can't help you with the VA503+. But I have that card running in a Tyan S1598 w/K6III+550@600. I just wished it would allow me to enable AGP texturing in directx. It would be nice to see this cards potential in a SS7. Is there a program or whatever, that I can use on this thing, to give the info on p...

Re: Motherboard

The new ECS K7S5A has a FSB up to 200, in the newest version of CPUCool. The multiplier of 10.5 is locked for a 1.4 Tbird. Unless you have a Golden Socket. Which can give you a multiplier up to 12.5X.

133.3&nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp 33.3&nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp 4.0...

Re: K6III+ video card recommendations It's a guessing game!

This is where I found the 4ns MX. www.buyeee.com/ They seem to have a better selection on Gainward, than most onlines I've looked at. I'll keep checking there site periodically, to see when they start sellin...

It appears he has a special connection with ATI. Maybe this is the route to take. Can't hurt trying. Thanks georgep1!

dh

Re: K6III+ video card recommendations It's a guessing game!

Monaro,
I don't have a problem going with that card. Which one is definately the question. I've been unable to find info on the chips for most of the cards I've looked at. Toast recommends a 4ns card. Do all Gainward MX400s run at 4ns? They only offer 3 different ones on their site. And Toasts' s...

When you checked, run continous, it does exactly that, until you stop it. As far as how long, someone else will have to go there.

Re: crossing over

I received the board and 1.4 bird yesterday. Waiting on Crucial for the DDR. However, I still won't part with the K6-III+550. Never! I'll love the way it runs on the DFI, if it runs as good as it did on the Tyan. But the Tyan has to make way for ECS. Man, I'll miss that board.

nohr,

You won't regret the 19". I bought a KDS AV-195TF 6mos ago. I love it. Big difference from the 14" I had. Incidently the KDS uses the Sony Trinitron tube. Over $100.00 (US) less than the Sony btw. And another $50.00 rebate. 1024 X 768 here.

dh

Welcome shewring,

I have a 3-3000 PCI card, I'd part with. You would be better off finding one locally. Shipping from USA to Austrailia would probably smart some. I like the card, but I have an AGP slot now. Just haven't replaced it yet.

dh
