Classic Example

One classic example is the magnetic properties of materials. Say you start at 600 degrees and raise the temperature to 700 and go back down to 600 degrees. The magnetic properties of a certain material at 650 might differ when you go up from 600 to 650 than when you go down from 700 to 650. Even tho...

Hysteresis Temperature..............

I have the same question. Here is my experience.

I know that hysteresis refers to the effect of previous conditions on a given physical parameter; that is, the effect of the systems "history". So I think it is designed to monitor fluctuations in temperature.

The genesys logic monitorin...

Nice article Mr. Toast!

The only thing I take issue with is having such a huge swap file size. Do you realy run applications or games that use extensive VRAM? I run the usual office type apps and my computer almost never SWAPs -this is with only 96 MB of physical RAM. I view the swap file as ...

Swap File Size

The swap file uses your hard drive as RAM. If you have a large enough hard drive (most people have at least a few gig free) you can set the swap file to as large as you like. But remember, using a swap file is slow compared to using physical RAM.

Also, with 128 MB or more of RAM you really do...
