Keep it up mbmulkey.

Hey, did you deliberately slow things down so you could see the 10,000th go through with your own eyes when you got back?

At the current rate, 50,000 topples by the weekend.

Looks like we'll have to wait for mbmulkey to get back home. If he did leave the machines running while he's away, my guess is that it's only a few and that they're falling by the wayside one by one. I'm trying to get my production back up. The PII 350 now has a 1.3 Celeron in it, which plugs the ga...

Off on a different tangent?

Just a totally different thought. Have you looked at your power supply? I've had problems in the past that involved inexplicable freezing of the system - though often, I must admit with a frozen rather than a blank screen. If the supply is building up heat levels you might not see anything untoward ...

Disaster time

Oh woe is me. My main WU cruncher is dead, dead, dead.   Thankfully not my main machine, but I'm down 7 or 8 units a day until I can do something about it. I've move the hard drive across to a Dell PII 350, but that's not exactly chewing through the work. I'll get my team contributio...

PCI sound card

If you just want a work-a-day card that's a bit better than the average generic GBP8 job, I find that an OEM Creative AudioPCI 128 is a reasonable choice. At least the synth sound a bit more lifelike and it has a few spatial and reverb options.

Hey! You just solved my problem as well.

I upgraded to ADSL a few weeks ago - using a DSL USB modem. Since then I've had unpredictable results on shutdown and restart of 98SE - e.g. shutdown gives an attempted restart without actually doing a shutdown, so that it just starts trying to reload everything that's already running, then it seems...

Thanks guys.

Now all I have to do is time it right, so 7500 arrives on my birthday.

Well done Nohr and Jonnywizard

The units are still tumbling at an amazing rate.

And who noticed blue sneaking past the still disabled Cake (when's that situation going to be fixed?).

Speaking of certificates, I'm getting my next one this week - and Nohr should be getting his in the mail.

Getting into it - feeling good

It's taking me a bit of time, but I'm finding my way around now. Love the stats page - doing my best to get Opera into second place. Who knows, with a few more converts, it might take top position. Could suggest a few additions. In the site features, what about a link to our Seti@Work page http://ww...

Congratulations Chevyt

Chevyt98 stormed over the 2000 line a couple of days ago, and nobody noticed. Shame on us all.

Congratulations - and keep 'em burning. Image

Moving in the right direction

I feel a lot more comfortable with the bolder blue in the Blue and feizex screens.

What would make it even better is a pale wash in the background. I afraid I find the bright white background too harsh. Just the very faintest blue or cream would suit my eyes.

Content looks good though....
