And concerning the 16MB of RAM on the AGP (2D) card, 16MB is more then enough for fast Windows browsing using ok screen resolutions

Intel states that they made some changes in how the CPU interfaces with the L2 cache. I suppose it is these changes (whatever they are, the document is not very technical) prevents us from using the L2 cache. Yes, except on Intel's own TX chipset. So I'd assume (could be wrong though) that either T...

Damn...so far it appears theres no solution for the Tillamook issue. We did find some info about Tillamook in it's datasheet. Apparently some of the pins were disabled compared to it's older desktop brother. Perhaps this has something to do with it? I find it hard to believe Intel put somekind of mi...

Actually, theres another good use for a Super 7 board: That of a hardware 386/486 emulator. Theres a thread on vogons.zetafleet.com made by Mau1wurf1977 where he did some extensive testing a Super 7 board with disabled caches to see how speedy any given Socket 7 CPU would be. Super 7 is one of the b...

Yah... but Tnt2 was almost equivalent to the Voodoo2 in 3D anyway. Yes, but it's a TNT2 Model 64, say, the budget version of TNT. And I wanted a AGP graphics card with the most amount of memory but the least amount of heat to prevent any potential troubles with the AGP slot not being able to handle...

Sis530 and > 64MB cacheable area
Do they exist? So far all SiS530 boards I've come across were made for budget systems and included only 512kb cache on the motherboard. Do any SiS530 based boards exist that cache more then 64MB RAM? I'd be interested in having one so I could match it with (don't laugh please :P) a Cyrix MII 2.2v CP...
