The auction reached 30 euro and I don't think it's worth.
I'm after a MVP3G2 right now.

Then, I got a K6-III 450@500MHz 2.2V rock solid and a K6-II+ 550MHz@600. Wich one is fastest on the epox?

RE: Searching for an Epox MVP3G5

I have a DFI K6XV3+/66 with 1meg on board.
Yes you are right, the MVP3G5 is not the only 2meg mobo.
But I want to try an Epox now, if I can find one somewhere...

Now it begins to look weird.... :? [Cris - 2007/01/10] My mainboard is an AGP 3.3V one. I see that the XFX 6200 AGP has an "universal AGP" layout, so it can PHISICALLY fits in ANY AGP SLOT (both 3.3V or 1.5V ones, 08V is the same as 1.5V). Can the 6200 AGP work on my motherboard?? Or is a mystake m...

Hi guys, I just found a Matsonic MS6393E with the sis540 onboard. And I got a K6-2+ 550MHz to ply with, I want to reach a stable 133MHZ bus configuration. Is it a good motherboard for my experiments? And what the hell is the ADIMM slot? IS it some kinf of AGP or what?? http://www.volny.cz/dzeman/mb/...

Super7Dude wrote:I have seen cards as good as a GeForce4 Ti 4600 which are AGP 2x and 3.3v capable working in a Super 7 board. That 6200 should work in your board no problem :)
NOPE

They say that even if the layout is an universal one, the card still needs a 1.5V (or 0.8V) voltage.

[Cris - 2007/01/06] Maybe I have not explained in the correct way. I want to know if the XFX 6200 will work on a AGP 3.3V motherboard. Beacuse the layout of the VGA is a universal AGP card one. Hope this time I was more clear. [JAMES - 2007/01/10] Hi, thanks for the extra information, can you tell m...

I wonder who is working at the XFX tech support... [Cris - 2007/01/05] I want to know If the card is compatible with an AGP 3.3V motherboard. It appears that the AGP connector of the XFX card is universal (with two holes), so it seems that it can fit and operate in ANY AGP motherboard. Pleas...

As you can see the AGP connector is clearly universal and I see it with my own eyes...

Don't know if it's worth a try, I'm a bit scared of frying both MB and VGA...

What about a 6200 AGP on a Socket7?

I found a lot of those cards with universal AGP connectors. The theory for AGP is that "If an AGP card fits in an AGP slot then they are compatible", according to that site: http://www.playtool.com/pages/agpcompat/agp.html The same site says : Unfortunately building AGP video cards with the wrong vo...

Thank you Jim,
but I think that it's an issue of some cards, like 8500LE.
I'll try another one, maybe a 9500. (???)
I like Radeon cards and I'm trying to get Morrowind work on a SS7 system.
And Morrowind is optimized for Radeon cards (as well Oblivion).
