it really is a shame about glide

i had a pci voodoo 3 back in the day

ran so well with ut and diablo 2 and everything else at the time

ut + the high res texture pack + s3tc was a sight to behold

the voodoo 3 got me through my obsession with team fortress classic as well

so many fond memories

i had an ALI alladin V mobo from gigabyte and was using it with a geforce 2 mx i would get errors and stalls in 3d stuff (i assume if the gf2 had supported vpu recover i would have gotten errors like that) anyway at the time it was pretty much concluded that the agp slot on the older motherboards we...

my k63+ 450 (before it died) was on a gigabyte GA-5AA. it was a baby-AT motherboard (same size as mATX) with both AT and ATX power connectors and the ability to use soft power. it has an ALI alladin V chipset, agp 2x slot (though it would only ever work stably at agp1x with the geforce 2 mx i had at...

you might try one of the older versions of windvd and use dvdgenie to tweak it windvd 2000 or somthing like that i think dvd genie has some tweaks for powerdvd as well. basically dvdgenie lets you customise playback quality and hardware acceleration features in much greater detail than any of the dv...

the k6x+ chips actually run pretty cool so a huge heatsink isnt really required. However if you think your current one isnt going to cut it a cheap way of getting a pretty good heatsink for a k6 is to find someone that has upgraded from the stock heatsink on an athlon and offer them a few bucks for ...
