It was actually on the "Nut Mounting" but even your SP setup deserves praise (and a banana :banana )! Do you have space in the case for an axial fan? Would be a huge undertaking to design/fabricate fan ducting from a axial fan to all the various heatsink (except maybe the CPU and gfx card)...

Mounting and such

Well, I never got past the prototype stage for my watercooling ;) Measure twice, cut once. Or how's the saying? I made the mistake of prototyping the CPU-block on a different SS7 mobo than the one I planned on using, naturally the side intake for the block made the block useless because of the caps ...

Nice design you got going there Jim!

Junkers are available for testing since I just can't bring myself
to toss something working :p

You ever tried fastening braces to the sides of the socket itself?
(Just an idea that popped into mind as I was typing)

Really nice pics Jim!

Those springs you use for mounting the hs, they came with it or
your setup?
If it's your own stuff, how did you choose the springs and what is
the clamping pressure?

Been thinking about various ways to clamp a block (water or thermosyphon) on the cpu in a good manner.

Think my ease may be due me having given the Boinc client a spin earlier.
I just attached to the Seti project with the provided URL, and setting up the login with my mail address and account key.
Have you checked the connection settings in Boinc manager?
Got any more specific messages from Boinc?

Boinc has a lot more projects than just Seti and my client didn't appear to have any probs retrieving WUs when I installed it today.

Other than Boinc I think United Devices is still around ;)

Nohr's sent me small envelopes (non-padded, max weight 4 lbs) with cpu/mem for $5 USD to Sweden, larger ones are apparantly $9.

The "Always use this program..." association can be cleared by doing the following ;) Open Windows Explorer->Tools->Folder Options->File Types Locate the file extension you want cleared, mark it and hit the "Delete" button. Quirky yes. IIRC you can also temporarily override the d...

How long have you had this problem?
Did it come from one day to the other?
Do you have any router, if so, what brand/model?
Have you installed any software recently that may have caused this?
