People still chat daily in the K6Plus IRC channel; however, what goes on there tends to be totally unrelated to the site itself. Most of the folks you're familiar with from the forums have not set foot in chat.

Relay and I are both admins but I handle most everything nowadays. His job keeps him busy.

What exactly is the problem? The "View posts since last visit" link seems to be working for me.

My webhost has offered to move K6Plus to their newest server and I've accepted. There will be a small amount of downtime during the move but hopefully it will resolve the issues we've been having.

I'd think it would be redundant to have the title repeated constantly throughout the thread. I guess the main reason it's there is if you have something to say that may be a little off topic or of special interest.

I believe it's by design.
