[deanodarlo]

Posted 6-2-2001 13:08

We will now sing the song "K6Plus" from our hymn book "Silicon Preacher"

I promised a special post for our opening period and here it is:

Brothers of the k6 circle, I have a special treat in store for you today. In a moment of divine inspiration I wrote something truly magical to touch those of you with a true and pure k6 heart.

No faith is truly complete without a hymn, and here is ours about our trustworthy mods:

Chorus:

Singing come on all k6ers let's unite!
Since we all love k6in' day and night
It's our number 1 processor
Where more cache equals better
And we'd rather lntels shit stayed out of sight!

Verse 1:

Now there was a little boy named Neo_blue
Whose new shortened name confused me and you
He is the spaminator
And became a moderator
But why the hell did he get a "thunderbird" CPU?

Repeat chorus

Verse 2:

There's a crab we know called io333
Who insults "blue" every opportunity?
Their war of words gets better
With every single letter
Will they ever end their forum rivalry?

Repeat chorus

Verse 3:

Mr Toast tweaks with bronx69
Both obsessed with Wpcredit most the time
Memory bandwidth is their trophy
But the question we ask mostly
Is what speed is that k6 pullin' in this time?

Repeat chorus

Verse 4:

Phobos is where cryptokid hangs out
He's been on something getting high without a doubt
Claiming he comes from outer space
Rather than any normal place
Shipping k6's must one expensive shout!

Repeat chorus

Verse 5:

Super Relays got the coolest forum Sig
The same can be said about his Rig
He's the k6 forum master
But a zombie faced disaster
Still he's helped a lot in setting up this dig

Repeat chorus

Verse Six:

Deanodarlo preaches k6 all the time
So much so we all think he's on the wine
One day he'll go one better
And write a number one best seller
Describing our various k6 exploits over time

Final chorus!

Please, please please let this be the sites official k6 song. It's an open source release meaning fellow brothers can add some verses!

Soon to be released on e-mail in mp3 format so you have the tune to accompany the lyrics! Let's get this site rockin'. I just have to find someone who can sing first...................

Perhaps a downloadable version could make public release on the site, it would be sooo good fellow brothers to have our very own hymn.

I'm ready for k6in or chewin' gum, and I ain't got no gum fellow brothers, no siree.

Yeah! My hymn has been sung back to the top of the board by Mr Toast - bless you my fellow brother! <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /happy.gif ALT=":D">

Noticed your reworking of my "hail to the cache baby, all L2 and L3 of it!" into "hail to the trilevel cache!" somewhere in another thread. Much better Mr Toast, I think I'll use your modified version from now on. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... smokin.gif ALT=":smokin">

Any more sayings for the holly chip k6ers?

Don't forget the Duke Nukem saying "I'm up for k6in' or chewing gum, and I aren't got no gum fellow brother, no siree"

I'll help out with the site when I get some free time which is scarce at the moment. Guess it's just that summer thing.

The rest of you don't go losin' any faith now, yer hear me?

PS Bluester, where is that evil motherboard - my overclockin' highway to hell awaits that malevolant beast!

Deanodarlo transformed into Spirits247.
