THe news is really hard to read!

Post by feizex » Mon Apr 07, 2003 5:47 pm

First of all I am put off by the large icons. I am trying to visualise what the item is about and when I see those Icons they throw me off. Suggestion: make them smaller so we know they are just icons.

Second, all I see is the main text. Where's the heading?
Oh yeah now I see it. It's smaller than the main text.
Suggestion: make it larger so I can see what it's about.

Honestly, the old news was easier to read.

Just some constructive criticism. =)

I agree with feizex. The first time I saw those Icons I was confused also.

Why can't phpbb fill in the subject automatically?

I also surf at hi-res and have to agree with BMM and feizex, the old
news format was clearer.

Maybe all you need to do is interchange the CSS definitions for
pn-title and pn-sub ?

I've messed with the fonts, let me know if it's alright or still needs changing.

Good work guys.

The icons are now a bit pixelated, but that's a good thing, they look more Iconic to me. I wonder if my brain is linking it to Win 3.1 icons in 16colors?

What's even mor funny is that I just spelled color without the U because I was thinking you guys are based in the US and that's the way you spell it. I think that my brain is on auto pilot today =)
