Rhino302, This is for you...

Post by AZK6er »

I know where you're at. We sit here in A.J. and watch the news and when the weather comes on and we see the temp in Bullhead City........... WE ALL run to the fridge to get another COOL ONE. Once in a while might be alright, but how in the hell do ya'll stand 120 degrees, day, after day, after day ? And how do you keep you're system cool with temps like that, use a fan off a 350 hp 327 Chevy ? I don't think anyone has temps in the summer like ya'll, EXCEPT them boys in the OutBack that is.

____________________
a.k.a. Desert Dog/ a.k.a. I dunno. I've just got used to it I guess. I used to commute to work in Kingman for three years, and that's almost a 3000 foot climb. Nevertheless, I worked outside, and I coudln't stand it in the winter. The summer weather was a peice of cake up there though. It'd get to 105, maybe 110 once a year. As far as keeping my system cool, that's why I'm waiting to uprade my Athlon 950 until when/if the palaminos are proven to run cooler than all those current socket a chips.

Good luck with Palomino...........

It seems like EVERY iteration of AMD chip just keeps getting Hotter and Hotter doesn't it ???

Yea I know, but above 110 and I start thinking about getting inside, popping a cool one, and turning on "The Screen Savers". I'm a little more sensitive to the heat, now that I'm disabled and stay inside most of the time. I used to work outside 12hrs. a day and, NO BIG DEAL. Not now though. You have a good one, and when it gets too hot over where you're at, come over here and jump in my pool and refresh (water temp in July gets about 88-90, but it's still better than sweat).

____________________
a.k.a.
