Hey you old k6Plus'ers, just dropped by to say hi and extend a hearty K6PLUSSSSS to you all. The web site is nicely done, my complements.

I still have 3 socket 7 machines running 24/7, and actually prefer them for router and file server machines since the risk of failure due to CPU fan failure is almost nil.

Best regards to Nohr, Neo, King V and the gang, take care.

BTW, I forgot where to find ya on IRC, so someone send me an email at kylesb@comcast.net and let me know.

Best regards,
Kyle

I'm new to the forum, came here from AMDforums....not much over there but a link to here. That's not true, there's a compatibility K^/Mobo chart.

Just thought I'd say hi.

I have 2 K6III+ 450's, and 2 FIC VA503+ boards....unassembled, but with the 1Meg L2 cache......

I have a bunch of other 'puter stuff, too....2 BX boards and 1 GHZ CPU's, 1 AMD 2500+ w/board.....

I was gonna join the procrastination club about 15 or so years ago.......maybe someday.

I'm gonna get all this stuff going this early summer.

I'm interested in O/C stuff...multiplier set to x2 = x6? I forget. Help!!!!

Heya Kyle, good to hear from you again.

Still running my K6-2+ as my main machine, and going to make the K6-III my wife's "office computer".

But, it looks like a BX I've slapped together may become the "main machine"... and I finally have that P4 system (got it for free!) running and hooked up to my network.

Note: Running network cable to various rooms is a LOT easier on a single-story house with an attic than a 2-story-plus-basement where almost none of the walls line up with each other!

Been working a steady job for a few months now, so I've been really slacking off on the Compatibility List. One of these weekends, though, I'll catch up on it.
