Has anyone else tried to rejoin the AMDZone forums?

Off topic chat and stuff that doesn't fit elsewhere.

Has anyone else tried to rejoin the AMDZone forums?

Post by His Royal Majesty King V »

I've given it a shot.

Set up a username, and my email address, and the site then says it will email me my password.

But it's been two days, and it hasn't arrived.

Tried to re-register, but of course it then says that the username I want is already taken.

I can't even figure out how the heck to contact a forum administrator, because whenever I click on "Moderators" it asks me to log in!

Tried to have my password mailed to me. No go on that front either, it simply never arrives.

Thoughts? Has anyone gotten back on those boards? Who can I contact about this? Thanks!

i still have my usernam/pass from back in the day but it wasnt the original username i had

see originally i was known as zebu, then relay, then super relay.

the name changes were because, as far as i can tell, they have always had problems mailing passwords :(

Bummer.... because I think they lost all their old stuff fairly recently (in the past few months?), and have wanted to rejoin, even though the K6-based forum is used much less frequently these days.

But I really wanted to rejoin. I've seen a bit of two of incorrect information passed along. Not incorrect enough to cause problems, but still! The fact that it involves a presumed error on my compatibility list has NOTHING WHATSOEVER to do with it, I swear!!!

Maybe I should just try contacting one of the webmasters about getting my password.

Actually, I eventually went through their "contact us" part of the main site (not from the Forum . . have to be logged in to talk to a moderator?!) . . and more or less did the same thing.

'Cept I only sent one email, and it worked. Man, they must have something against you! :P
