RE: K6-3+550: sold for US$ 210 ...
I sold my last (used) K6 III+ 550mhz about a year and a half ago on eBay for more money than I originally paid for it new in 2001. I’ve never heard of used CPU’s going up in value! I took the cash from the sale and purchased a brand new P4 and a rather unique Aopen Tube motherboard. There was even a few bucks left over to put toward new memory. I couldn’t believe it.

If you have an AT box that you want to upgrade, what do you do? There is nothing better; and there never will be. Ergo the prices. You would think that some manufacturer, would take note of it; but I guess the numbers are too small.
