Congratulation John. We now have four in our small band of seti crunchers to cross the 10,000 wu mark.

Thanks everyone. I didn't even see where I'd been congratulated on hitting 10,000. Anyway, I noticed that endmilled passed 1,000 today, giving us 15 members with 1,000 or more WUs.

If you check the SETI@Work stats, we're also on our way to becoming one of the top 1000 teams in the world, I think we were about 1041 last week when I checked.

SETI is in the process of switching to a new system (BOINC) and ending this project, and I'd like to see us finish move into the top 1000 before it comes to an end. I don't trust the new system and will probably switch to something new when SETI classic gets shut down.

I'm not going to run BOINC on my main rig because after reading how it works, I don't trust it from a security standpoint. But if the team decides to switch over, I will keep my backup rig going and maybe switch the others over when I feel BOINC is a mature platform.

I've had to shut down a few machines the past few weeks, but I hope to get my production back up soon. 8)
