Thanks guys.

Now all I have to do is time it right, so 7500 arrives on my birthday.

I'm going to hit 5,000 sometime Friday. Looks like my estimates are right on the nose so far.

rls48j just zipped past 100 to get himself a cert.

That's good enough for a banana

Disaster time

Post by grahamv »

Oh woe is me.

My main WU cruncher is dead, dead, dead.

Thankfully not my main machine, but I'm down 7 or 8 units a day until I can do something about it.

I've move the hard drive across to a Dell PII 350, but that's not exactly chewing through the work.

I'll get my team contribution back up to normal levels asap.

I feel your pain grahamv. My daughter is back from college and has moved into her old room...sharing it with three seti PCs...that make noise...which she doesn't like...so she turns them off. No point in moving them since it's only for a few weeks. So I'll be down in my numbers for a bit.

I'm also going on vacation (or as the Brits say, on holiday), for two weeks starting next week. I'm debating if I should keep everything up and running while I'm gone since jonnywizard has gone into overdrive again. I think he misses being in the lead.

Come on mbmulkey, get those crunchers back up and running again...we'll be pushing 150 WU's a day if you can get back to what you were churning out.

I've managed to get a few more old P2's going, at least for the time being. I'm pushing about about 20 a day instead of my usual 16.
