I hope to get my computer back tomorrow

Post by BENCHMARKMAN »

Hopefully I will get my computer back tomorrow if nothing else goes wrong. I had the mobo replaced, after something went wrong with upgrading to an XP2200, then they found out the CPU was bad. Wish me luck.

Well I got it today, tuesday. Yeah I will never go back there again. They "accidently" forgot to put my sound card back in and replaced it with a 56k modem. Also they forgot to set my FSB to 133 to my 1.33ghz cpu was running at 1ghz.
Asus A7M266
. T-bird @ 1.33ghz
. 256mb PC2100 DDR
. Ati Radeon 8500 LE @ 275/275
. Windows Xp

Good help is hard to find

I'm surprised you let them mess with your system in the first place.

I trust all is well now?

Regards Chevy

Benchmarkman, seriously, you need to learn to work on your own stuff. It's not that hard. Kind of like plumbing.

Yeah I could have fixed it but lets see new mobo, which the price of this one was $300 and can only use that one cause case was altered for that specific size and a new cpu $85 which equals $385 or under warranty for free. I could have fixed it but its a little cheaper the other way <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /smile.gif ALT=":)"> .
