This site, on my resume?!

Post by His Royal Majesty King V »

Hey all,

Well, ok, that subject line is a bit deceiving . . . it's not actually on my resume.

But I was setting up an account on the New Jersey education website to try to find a job in the school systems.

Prettified my HTML-version of the resume, and then I had to, in addition to going through the "Add Resume" bit, also do the "Add Application" (as in job application) part, which asks about previous work, yada yada.....

And among other things, was a "volunteer work" section.

So I figured, what the heck, and put down the compatibility list as my volunteer job, and k6plus.50megs.com as the "organization" that I do this work for.

Sounds bizarre? Maybe, but then again, aren't resumes in general bizarre?

Well we are doing charity work of sorts (helping out those poor K6 systems left to fend for themselves in the Athy/PIV jungle), so if that isn't a public service I don't know what is!
<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/wink.gif ALT=";)">

In this day and age alot of job opportunities and career changes arise out one's hobby. If it leads to a rewarding job (best wishes and good luck).

I think Blue would make a great chef in a kitchen somewhere putting all his cooking and frying experiences to use <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /smile.gif ALT=":)">

Regards Chevy
