Does this mean that my donation is going through mail?
I wonder if I can get hold of a check, they're kinda obsolete over here. 54 % of all swedes do their banking stuff on the net <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/wink.gif ALT=";)"> (there, just had to get that out of my system <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... tongue.gif ALT=":p"> )

You don't happen to have a bank account? Heres what I think about credit cards.

Post by chevyt98 »

Lets just say I'm one tight SOB when it comes to my money.
I dont gamble because I would get ill if I lost $10 and had nothing to show for it. It really bothers me when I have to give out my credit card information even though I may not be purchasing anything in order join some club or service( ex. Ebay). I wanted to ask someone selling a cpu a question and the only way you can is if your registerd. Ok I thought I'll register. So I go through the process and give my hotmail email address and a message comes up saying that because I'm using a free email service I have to give my credit card info--what bullshit just to ask someone a question. I'm form the old school and I don't trust the internet yet with my personal information especially my credit card info. I have to friends building sail boats in their back yards at the moment one over 30' and one over 40' and they have had to do alot of buying of their supplies over the internet using their credit cards and each one is now fighting to have fraudulent purchases applied to their cards removed. I do have several credit cards but I only use them when I have to. Which brings me to my favourite subject COLD HARD CASH. Its amazing to me the deals that are out there that can be had when you wave some cash in a vendors face. Here in Canada we have the gst and pst which can add up to a 15% tax on a purchased item. I went and bought my wife some flowers not to long ago and the lady said that will be 40$ please and I said how much if I pay cash, she gave me a knowing smile and said oh $15 will do. I went to a computer store last week and bought a new hard drive and cable--total price $175-- so I said to the guy how much if I pay cash --he looks around and thinks for a moment and says ok I'll let you have them for $155--done deal. If you may have guessed by now this is how I do my shopping when ever I can. CASH CASH CASH I don't have to worry about bills at the end of the month because what I bought is paid for and thats the end of it. This even works for auto repairs and you can save a great deal of money on large repairs. I had a slate floor put in my house and paid the guy SPAM--saved a $1000 for sure on this job alone. No sir I wont be giving out my credit card info on the internet any time soon. I'm having too much fun with my cold hard CASH. If someone doesn't want to deal this way on the net then thats fine with me and I'll move along

Regards Chevy

Toastz I'll try and send some money this week if I can get my hands on some US currency
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Athlon T-Bird slota 900@950mhz

Athlon Classic 600@750mhz
Asus K7M Soyo K7VIA
256MB generic PC133 Cas 3
Abit Geforce2 MX400 32 mg
Seagate Barracuda Ultra ATA/66 20.4GB / Quantum Fireball EX 6.4GB 5400rpm
Samsung CD-R/RW SW-204B
Diamond Supra Max 56k
Windows XP Pro
