Posting Attachments

Went to post my WPCredit settings that Power Tweak 2 & K6Speed give me on an ASUS P5A-B Rev 104; but found that "Text Files", (i.e. file extension = txt), are not accepted as attachments. Have also found that Win XP can't read Win98-SE "Wordpad"; and that Win98-SE can't read Win XP "Wordpad"; -- so what do you do ? -- Save it as "Richtext" ?
