I'd like to suggest a new forum section................
Pikarob posted a blasphemous post in the tech forum asking about the best sicket A m/b. It lead to a few remarks from yours truely, but also gave me the idea that we need another forum section for those who journey into darkness:

Quoting myself from the pikarob thread:

"Perhaps we need another forum section called "Blasphemous", "Sinners corner" or "Dark Side R us" for this kind of post. That way I can identify lost souls on this board more quickly, and at least prevent the dreaded upgrade "rape"."

So what about it? An evil section for sinners to unite, and discuss their sicket A and blunderbird exploits.

We can't prevent progress, but can make sure it knows its place!

Deanodarlo transformed into Spirits247. Come K6 brothers sing a k6 hymn from my book <a href=http://pub70.ezboard.com/fk6plus67153fr ... ic>Silicon Preacher<img src=http://homepage.ntlworld.com/deanodarlo ...

Not a bad idea! Not a good idea! Unfortunately, because of the time devoted to making this site more appealing, the forum has become neglected. Don't forget the basics! If a newbie or what ever you want to call them, gets more than just halfhearted advise, from the forums... If they are not able to get the expertise, that this forum is capable of giving...Get what I'm saying? It won't take long for other forums(AMD Zone, and etc) to look more appealing. There is a number of you, who have put much diligence, in this site. You have a great thing going here! Don't let it go in vain!

dh

I keep an eye on posts, but have narrow expertise
My focus with the K6 has always been tweaking with the MVP3 chipset, and I don't venture out into new software and such very often.

So if you don't see me reply to a particular post, it isn't because I don't want to help, but that I have nothing meaningful that will help the person posting. If I see a thread start to disappear down the list, I try to at least reply to it then. That way those with the expertise can jump right in, and if they don't, that person isn't left in the cold...

As we get more people here, this problem should arise less and less, but in the meantime us regulars should keep the plight of the newbies (and not so newbies) in mind.

Well, back to tweaking...
Work, you ##$&%$#@
