K6-3+ ATZ

Mines been running 2.0v at 550mhz for close to 2 years now and is rock solid. Temps run 98 to 101 F and the heatsink/fan is almost lukewarm to the touch. The "Z" in the pn say's this thing can run up to 85c which seems pretty dam hot to me, wouldn't want to touch it at that temp. It's been an very good cpu.
It's installed in a DFI K6BV3+/66 1meg with 640mb of ecc ram and a Radeon 7000 AGP 2x/4x video card. I'm not a gamer so the video performmance is more than enough.
Although this oldie won't keep up with my Athlon 64 socket 939 systems the rock solid performance of this thing makes me keep it running. Might try running Linux on this thing in the future (has Me now) as I think Xp might be too much of a blot for it.
Btw, this is a nice forum, keeping the ss7 going. Tell anyone your still using a baby AT and they chase after you with a straight jacket
