Does anyone have a K6+ BIOS for an ASUS P5-A?

Post by Super7Dude »

Hi,
This is my first post, so I'm a newbie. I've been looking for the 1011 beta 5 BIOS for the ASUS P5-A. The ASUS ftp sites don't seem to exist anymore :x
Does anyone have this BIOS and could they please email it to me?

Awesome! Thanks for the quick reply. My old P5A-B board died :( so I got my hands on a rev 1.03 P5-A instead :) Is there a chance you could email me that bios please :?: :) Thanks again.

Hey all,
Thanks again to Jim and Peter for the beta BIOS :)
I've been reading in a few places that rev 1.03 of this board (the one i'm getting) won't work with K6-2 CPU's over 500MHz (apparently due to the clock generator chip on this board)? Can anyone please verify that it does/doesn't work?

Thanks again :)

the revision 1.03 runs just everything: K6-2 up to 550 (I did not try to overclock the 550er I have), K6-3, and of course the k6-2+ und k6-3+ versions (up to 600mhz without oc'ing the fsb).
