Need manual for Powercolor P561A
This board is a real oddball. I can't find any information on it at all. I'd appreciate any help finding a manual or jumper settings for this board. TIA

I just acquired one of these motherboards from Ebay. I want to see if this Aladdin 7 will do 133 FSB.
Here is one link I found on this board. Does anyone recognize the language?

Looks like Russian or something similar.

No luck on finding the manual. That's OK though because I think I'm going to quit on the P561A for now and start testing the M583LMR.
In a last ditch attempt to get a PCI video card working on the P561A, I acquired a low power Radeon 9000 compatible with older PCI standards. The board would not power up. Either the Powercolor board I have is bad or is just really lame.

Did you try asking edwin over at WIM's?
He seems to cater to a lot of that stuff (old boards, manuals, etc...).

OK, I finally found a manual for the P561A. It actually came with a brand new P561A I found on Ebay. Nothing in the manual really sheds much light on the operation of this board beyond what I've already learned but there are a few interesting things printed in there;
Product Description
The P561A is a high performance, high value North Bridge that integrated ALi's proven Socket 7 core logic with ArtX graphics processor technology.
128-bit Super-Socket7 North Bridge for AMD-K6-III with integrated 3D and Video Highest- performance game playing in a single integrated chip.
P561A supports the 66/100/1XX Mhz Socket 7 Front Side Bus. It is System Memory Management (SMM) and Advanced Configuration and Power Interface Specification (ACPI) compliant.
Features & Specifications
Processor
ZIF socket 7 support AMD K6-II/K6-III up to 650Mhz, Cyrix up to MII-500.
...up to 650Mhz??? Did AMD have a 650Mhz K6 CPU on the roadmap or is this wishful thinking?
Switching VR
Switching Voltage Regulator to support 1.3V to 3.5V
Funny, there are no jumper settings listed for anything below 2.0V, but there may be some undocumented settings to be found. I've already found an undocumented setting for the 105FSB. There may be more.
Another thing, the box states 1GB of RAM is supported but the manual only states 768MB is supported. Hmmm.
I'm hoping this new board works a little better than the other P561A I got.

great uranium!
can you transfer the manual in a digital form if its only a manual book u have? it would be very helpful for further generations to have free use of this manual. and you know, how hard it is to find it on the internet - several persons tried without success. just let us save it in our download link.
by the way - do you got the apacer modules i advised you? maybe you will have more luck with them on the m583lmr. recently i got two 256 mb modules of the same manufacturer, still not tried them, but if you wish, ill send you the two 128 modules, i have no need for them now.

That's a very good idea with the manual. It is nowhere to be found on the net. I would probably need to photocopy the pages of the manual and then scan then into images. I have an old scanner at home, haven't used it in years, not sure if it still works but I'll check into it.
No, I haven't found any Apacer RAM like yours yet. I would be interested in your sticks. Maybe we could work out a trade? I have some old hardware that maybe you would like. Send me a PM when you get a chance.

bit off topic but
Ooh I have been looking for this motherboard for quite some time now. Any tips on where to find one? (There is one in one of the shops at eBay, but that 200 dollar price tag is just sick - or maybe not?)
