Getting back to your original question; yes that quite possibly is a record for 25 micron chips. I have heard of 744 MHz for the 18 micron chips but nothing that high for a plain K6-2. Next question is how are you going to set all that up inside a machine?

first i must buy a new case, because i haven't got one for my k6-2/3 at the moment.

at the moment, i have build up the system on a table, as you can see. 8)

a few days ago, i have oc'ed my K6-3 450 0.25µ. to a max. of 633mhz and
super pi @ 567mhz.

next week i'm getting a k6-2+ 550 and a k6-3+ 400 for more tests.

if you wish, i can post the results here again. :)

Can't speak for others; but I am interested. Would be interested in some details about that cooling system you are using. Never seen anything like it before.

I'm using a "compressorcooler" which is called "Vapochill".

it's from asetek. here are some details on their website. (just click on the "vapochill cpu cooling" symbol.)

http://www2.asetek.com/default.asp?show ... tSection=2

this unit is cabale of cooling a cpu below sub-zero, so you can better overclock it.

unfortunately there's only a socket kit for new cpus included (socket 478 & 754/939/940.)

so i had build my own one for socket7.

i'm happy everything worked and i got no condensation because of good insulation.
