Hi guys,
as I told I found an M577 and I can saay it's really a good motherboard with 1mbyte cache and via chipset.
I was able to get the ATX-form card, but now I'm looking for the audio cable for the soundpro chipset onboard.
It's a PCI chip, is not like the infamous 8330 fake-pci of all other pcchips AT boards.
Can anyone tell me where to find it?
I tried Ebay but nothing so far.

Mamba, at Above All electronics here in Toronto, I once was able to get a set of those PC Chips cards and cables for a machine that I built for someones daughter. I don't know if they have any now; but I will check.

Those audio cables are hard to find. Maybe you could look for a cheap used PCChips motherboard on Ebay that includes the audio cable. I think several different boards utilized the same cable. Good luck.

K, Talked to Steve at Above All Electronics. he says there are two types of sound cables for PC Chips boards. One has a single ribbon cable; and the other has two ribbon cables. He has BOTH in stock. Which do you want?

Honestly I don't know about the difference between the two types of cable you mentioned...
But I can imagine that the two ribbon cable is for the Spdif out? Maybe?

I need a single Ribbon cable I think.

Well, I now have one of each type. Basically they are the same; but one is older than the other. The older version has separate cables and plugs for the sound jacks, (10 pin), and the game port, (16 pin). The newer version still has separate cables, but they run into a single 25 pin plug. Steve also has the network cables; and the modem risers for PC Chips boards if you are interested.

K, yours uses the single 25 pin cable. Plug has 26; but 1 is blocked. It is on its way. Expect it some time within 1 - 3 weeks. - (Official shipping time = 1 - 2 weeks).
