DFI P5BV3+ (VIA MVP3) and USB problems
I think; (but I'm not sure) that that is KachiWachese for a multimeter. Truth is, though he is right if there is no power it ain't going to work, it is probably cheaper just to get the right type of port and see if it works. If it doesn't then the mobo USB port is blown; but not necessarily on account of lack of +5V, something else could be blown in which case the port is toast. Where a multimeter would be handy is to see if the thing isn't working because there is no +5v. since it may be possible to restore a port wherein the +5v is non functional by running a lead from one of the 5v. connecters on the power supply. KachiWachi might be able to answer if that would work if there is no +5v.
