windows 7

Post by mshail »

Just curious if anyone has tried or thought about trying a "lite" version of windows 7 on their machine? I know people have successfully used the "lite" version on ASUS eee netbooks. I also believe we could use a CF in place of a hard drive. We could possibly boot from the CF and use our regular drive for storage. I know of a couple of possible concerns: 1) processing power of a K6-III+ processor. 2) excessive wear on the CF.

Was doing a little browsing tonight and found a few links which show Windows 7 actually runs quite well on older systems.
