Attention , searchers ! Need docs : icworks W153 F

Post by Ninho »

Hello ! I am experimenting on my own with programming the (icworks W153F ) clock generator on my MoBo - as CPUFSB crashes with my hardware .

At Cypress internet site ( Cypress bought IcWorks ) could only find data sheets for the W153B : using this makes 'puter crash like with CPUFSB <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /frown.gif ALT=":(">

If anyone has got / could help me locate the CORRECT data shit - please (drop me a mail besides the) feedback here!

Thanks .

Ninho <ninho.AT.multimania.com>

try to contact computer adjusters, some times
he can contact direct to cypress and get thoughs
docs, if you are thinking on programing the BIOS.
I would love to know how it goes, looks like
I will be doing the same soon because of problems
on this tekram board, and also WPcreadit
refuses to work for me, it shows the registers ok
but reboots on chainging. please post on techcorner
for your programing chainging that way others not
adapt to assembly language won't get confused.

Elf

Old Elf : well thank you for you reply ! I had not noticed it yet , in fact I has - almost <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/wink.gif ALT=";)"> forgotten this post of mine here - since I made up the info I wanted by trial and error.

The FSB changes work perfectly ( with the SiS chipset and W153 ) - but I still have to make this into a proggie clean enough for distribution , which I have been to lazy ( and busy , must say ) to do for now.

So do NOT all hope abandon <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/wink.gif ALT=";)">

Peter once posted a link in here somewhere to a site that has datasheets, though it may not have the one you are looking for.
