Blue, you come up with some of the most innovative SIG's I have seen, Very slick, I like it. Some day you'll have to show me how to do that.

Monaro,
I don't have a problem going with that card. Which one is definately the question. I've been unable to find info on the chips for most of the cards I've looked at. Toast recommends a 4ns card. Do all Gainward MX400s run at 4ns? They only offer 3 different ones on their site. And Toasts' said his card isn't one of them. What do I buy all 3, just to find out what chip they have? Where do I buy the right card? I have a VD 3-3000 on the DFI board I'm wanting it for. But it's PCI. And no support to boot. Doesn't make sense to waste the AGP slot capabilities. Frustrating! It reminds me of when I tried to order a K6-3 450. I wanted the AFR, didn't want the AHX. But nobody could tell me which I was ordering. I ended up with 1 AHX, before I finally got the one I wanted. At that rate, as far as VCs go. I will have money better spent, buying a Pro card.

Thanks for the replies fellers.
dh

deerhaven,

Not all Gainward MX 400s have 4ns RAM. Do a search on pricewatch for cardex mx 4ns and you should get a couple hits at least.

deerhaven,

The 3.5ns card was reviewed on Tom's Hardware. But I've seen no advertisements of this card in the U.S. Not sure if it was ever really launched, or maybe it was somewhere overseas?

This is where I found the 4ns MX. www.buyeee.com/ They seem to have a better selection on Gainward, than most onlines I've looked at. I'll keep checking there site periodically, to see when they start selling the 3.5ns card.

dh
