Quickcam and the Max Headroom Effect...how to get rid of?

Post by Mr Toastz »

Hey all!

I recently purchased a logitech quickcam pro 3000. It is a fairly nice webcam, and takes pretty good pictures.

However, whenever there is significant motion in the playback of live images, the image seems to studder and actually go back and forth in time a bit, running about 1/2 second behind to real time.

Anyone have any ideas as to whether this is fixable? I have checked the logitech database, and their fixes (allowing auto framerate and such) don't seem to help much.

At the smallest resolution, the problem is almost completely resolved, but still crops up occasionally.

Thanx!
