Which power supply?

Post by KHPower »

I was interested in a 600 or above power supply to run all the gear my computer is using and was wondering which of these yall would prefer if you were me , feel free to give me more suggestions and comments

ULTRA

Cooler Master
http://clubit.com/product_detail.cfm?itemno=CA6296002

They are both the same price but the Cooler master requires a a rebate and I happen to have a $5.00 off coupon to Clubit and its free shipping

The one from Tiger seems good with the lifetime warranty , I have to pay for shipping but at least I dont have to wait for a rebate. I have bulit my whole computer through rebates and I am starting to get some of them back :?
My system is as follows

AMD Athlon 64x2 4200
1 120 g HD
2 dvd drives
1 cd drive
1 floppy
2 gigs ram
1 sound card
1 512 mb vid card
and about 3-4 things running USB

Only on a 250 watt power supply with no problems :? Yet

I appreciate any help

I've have a Logisys 575W PSU powering my XP3200 rig for about 6 months with no problems. It is SLI capable and you can't beat the price.

Otherwise I would choose the Coolermaster.

That is a very good deal on the PSU you listed , I am basicly looking for efficiency and with a little power to spare so I can add on to my system. a warranty is always nice 8)
I have also found this one from Cooler Master , its actually better in efficiency then the one I listed and I can get a better deal http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDe ... e=10006236
