darby,

for the best performance use the 12.90's, anything after them degrades performance on both the MVP3/Ali V chipsets. if you want to get better gaming performance, sell the geforce and buy a radeon 8500/9100, since ATI have better driver support for Super7 systems.

Steve

Ok I loaded the 12.90 drivers and my 3dmark 2000 score went up from 2127 to 3559!! Unfortunately, my 3dmark 2001 score went down from 1418 to 1350. So what drivers are going to give me better performance in todays games? Also, when I installed the driver it didn't have geforce 2 ti as a choice to pick as my card. I just picked the "ultra" model. Is this a problem. Thanks for your help.

What Sandells said...

It really depends on the games you play. You *might* get better performance in DX8 games with drivers higher than 12.90, but that's still up in the air as not too many people with Super7 systems post about their experiences with DX8 games. Let us know if the 2x.xx drivers (or higher) give better performance in DX8 (beyond 3DMark2001). For DX7 and below games, 7.58->12.90 should definitely give you the best performance.

Choosing the Ultra driver for the TI should work just fine. I'm not sure if utilities for overclocking will work perfectly though. They might.
Epox MVP3G5, K6-3+450@618, 256MB SDRAM, CL GF2 GTS, IBM 60GXP 20GB, Fortissimo II Sound

ASUS TX97-XE, K6-3+450@500, 256MB SDRAM, Voodoo4 4500 PCI, WD 40GB, SB AWE64 Sound

ASUS A7N8X Dlx, Athlon XP 2400+, 512 Crucial DDR, Radeon 8500, WD 80GB SE, onboard sound/LAN
