I think the Radeon 8500 or the Radeon 9100 run really well on socket 7 boards but there are a few boards that won't work with them.

None of the above.

My nostalgia box currently has a Geforce FX 5200 PCI. Is "nominally" a DX9 card, but much too slow to actually run DX9 at any reasonable rate, even if it had a fast CPU to back it up, let alone a K6-2+ 450.

ATI Radeon 8500DV in my SS7 rig. Still a great graphics card for SS7 systems.

I have a Voodoo 4 for now, although I have my modded Voodoo 5 sitting around. Unfortunately it doesn't fit the case very well.

Radeon 9700pro works great on a MVP3 if you have 300W+ power supply.
It gives a noticable performance boost over the lower Radeons.

I think this is the upper limit of what can be achieved with any video card. 8)

Do any of you have CTCM /VID data on your cards?

Hi,
Do you mean some text results from the program itself? I've never used it, but when I get a chance I can try and see what I get.

Cthulhu8u -

Does your system automatically turn on UC/UW?

If not...did you (can you) manually turn it on for your test?

This will affect the LFB tests (mode $4103) only.

Thanks.

what am I looking for exactly, would it be BIOS or software related?

I've posted some stuff about that here already.

Search around...read...then ask me anything you don't understand.

Thanks.
