Just curious to know if it would work! I have Win7 BETA, and am getting Vista 64 soon, but wonder if anyone beat me to it.

Not me. I am currantly running Win98SE. Sometimes use XP but have no intention of ever going to vista.

I saw a YouTube video not too long ago where someone had actually installed Vista on an old K6-2 based machine. No reason it shouldn't work if you have enough RAM, but I wouldn't want to have to use it.

I thought about putting the Windows 7 beta on a Presario laptop I recently upgraded with a new hard drive and K6-2+ 550, but haven't tried it yet.
FIC VA-503+, Rev. 1.2, AMD K6-III+ 450@550MHz, 80GB Seagate ATA-100, 3dfx Voodoo3 3500 TV, TB Montego II Quadzilla, Win98se, 384MB PC100

Compaq Presario 1273, AMD K6-III+ 450@400MHz 1.8v, 40GB Samsung 5400RPM, extremely hacked Win98SE, 288 (yes, 288!) MB RAM
(Also an AMD FX-8350, which does the heavy lifting these days...)
