HAHA couldn't work out my old email i used for this site or my password but go to see this place is still going. Might have to just into chat if it's still there.

Hi Monaro, Yeah its still running thanks to Nohr. Me, I still have a K6-3+ machine that runs ok, though my main machine now is a socket 775 with 4 Gig of RAM, an Intel 2.4 GHz Quadcore, an ATI 4850 video card, and a Sound Blaster Audigy sound card. I built it back in 2009 but it still works fine.

As for the "Chat", don't know if that is working or not, because I've never used it.

omg never thought this site would make it to 2015, yes im still alive i do hvac work now do have much time to play with computer hardware, im posting this using my tablet as a keyboard for my busted laptop

I kinda miss the old news site format, but the forum with decade worth of information is still very valuable. As some great philosopher put it: Will the highways on the Internet become more few?
And indeed, many(most?) of my bookmarks from 2005-2007, when i was fiddling around with old hardware, are no longer working. Hell an interbellum blog i was following that updated less than 2 years ago is now losing its images and missing pages, and other even more recent sites disappeared without a trace in a fortnight.

I just want to say thank you to all you good people who keep this site alive.
