Re: My K6 System would love an ATA133!

Thanks for the interest in my K6 III+ system Revhead. The chip is a 475mhz engineering sample that was designed to run on a 95mhz bus. I want the system to live a good long time so I don’t push it that hard. When I need a little more speed for some games I use a K6 Speed utility to push it up to 550. It’s not very stable at 600.

PS
Endmilled,
Excuse me, but why haven't you pushed for more than 500Mhz - a 25 o'clock hardly seems worth it?

Hey, it was my birthday just yesterday!

Post by allans2k »

Hey, I don't want to do the poor me trip, but I didn't have much of a birthday, yesterday. As a matter of fact, I tripped on my shoes when I got out of bed and slipped in the bathroom getting out of the shower, was late for work and threatened with being fired, lost my girlfriend, who wants to keep the dog. I then came home from work and found my new apartment in the bad part of town, burglarized! So, you guys at K6 Plus could really cheer me up with the Maxtor HDD. A HDD for a guy who's had a Hard Day's Night! Hey, there's nothing shameless about me! It's the American Way!
