New K6-2+ 550 for sale
Hey guys. I bought a new K6-2+ 550 for my back up comp, upgraded from a 475+@550 and 600 for a year. My compaq mobo conked out before I could get the new cpu in the mail today, so it hasn't even been used or taken out of the box. My compaq mobo was only rated up to 450, but had jumper settings for 550. The 550 was suppose to be obtainable, but not warrentied by Compaq, I asked them before I did it. But I think that it was the 475@600 that killed my mobo. If I could use the 550+ I would but thank god that the compaq was only my backup. I got a compaq paper weight for sale to if anyone is interested.

Where are you?

It's gone
I gave the 475 to a friend of mine. But I still have the K6-2+ 550mhz.

More to the point; how much do you want for the 550 and do you have Heatware or Ebay feedback?

Comes with a heatsink and fan
The 550+ comes with iether an alpha pep 66(great heatsink) that has a Delta 38 fan or a swiftech mx370 and a Delta 38 fan. Both are great heatsink and fans. And they come in handy of your going to overclock the 550 to say 600mhz or higher. I've seen a friend oc his 500 to 650(?), well I know his was at just above 103*6 for some time. But that ment he needed a good hs/f. So, lets say about $55.00 US dollars, may haggle depending on conversation.

Well, I'm out of the running. I found a K6-III+ for $50 shipped.
