LAPTOP Compatability - IBM Thinkpad 380XD
Does anyone know if you can run a K6-2+ or K6-III+ cpu in this laptop? A friend of mine is offering his 380XD laptop to me fairly cheap, but I don't want to bother unless I can upgrade it to one of the plus K6's.. I don't want to take his laptop apart unless I know there's compatibility....

I purchased several K6 Plus cpu's when they first were released, and I still have 2ea K6-2+ 450's, 1ea K6-2+ 500, 2 ea K6-III+ 450's, and 1ea K6-III+ 550.

I've built 7 other K6 plus desktop systems that are all still running and are in service, but I've never tried a laptop conversion before.. Interested in any suggestions

Tanx.....
