Retro hits the web...
I wasn't sure where to post this thread so here goes...
I just finished getting my new (albeit free ) site up and running, predominantly it deals with Retro PC mods' and repairs (like I've posted some of here abouts)... just hoping for a little feedback maybe from K6plus members if they've got time for a quick look-see, and for the record this is my first ever attempt

Thanks,
- Taz.

Dropped in to take a look. Not too shabby at all; though I noticed that you have not included "tweaking tips" yet. Can we hope for that at some point in future?

Yes that it is... though sadly now my K62 systems are falling further and further behind in the performance stakes
I used to be able to crunch F@H WU's with them, but alas no longer... the WU's can take in excess of 40+ days each while SETI 'classic' is still viable (though not much longer) they have a purpose, but I installed BOINC 30 days ago, hooked up SETI & Einstein@home projects and still nothing!
Hence my dilemma... if they're not being useful, what is to become of them?

Soup em up w/ + processors. You are even worse than I am, when it comes to being a stick in the mud! Stick +s in them and they have a new lease on life. Can even play DVDs. Play w/ WPCredit, and they become blindingly fast! (Relatively speaking). Superpuppy 2 is closing in on the Celeron 900s "Memory Write" scores in Everest.
