NEED HELP!!

Post by KachiWachi »

As I metioned in the "Welcome me to the Forum" thread , I still cannot access my AMD Processor Support Forum account after updating my e-mail address. Well, that's not totally true...I can get in, but i can't post, etc...

For those of you that are on that message board...could you please PM the mods over there and have them look into sending out the validation e-mail manually? The correct e-mail address appears in my profile (hidden), but it seems not to be working...even after repeated attempts. I did NOT change my password, so that shouldn't have anything to do it.

I've tried e-mailing them at the support address, but they have some STUPID e-mail SPAM detector, which "seems" to limit contact to an automated response only.

In your PM subject, please use "Please re-validate KachiWachi's account"...this way they will know something is up and (hopefully) get me back online sooner. I'm sorry I have to say it, but SPAM the whole Admin. team (only the one's with "control panel" access)...since I already know that they all don't check their PM's very often.

Thanks to all that can help...and yes..your checks are in the mail.

K, as of now I am a member of the AMD forum. Could you please type in verbatim what you would like me to post to their "Suggestion Box" forum, (supposedly heavily moderated), regards improvements which should be implemented so their members can actually use their forum?

Just tell tell them that a < insert a** kissing BS here > member, KachiWachi, changed his e-mail address to one that was current, and that he hasn't received his re-validation notice yet. Tell them he has tried re-validating multiple times, and still no joy. Also say that he did send e-mail to < hw.support@amd.com >, and that he did get the standard SPAM relay message. Ask them to either manually validate the account, or manually send out the re-validation e-mail to the address listed in the forum (currently hidden).

I'd also ask them to check out that routine, since they may have messed it up when they updated the forum to a more current version a short time ago.

BTW...welcome to the AMD Processor Support Forum!
