I've almost completed my Athlon at long last. The remaining item missing is a durable, 90mm-120mm fan utilizing power supply. Preferably, I want a dual +12 rail one. One that is upgradeable, and supports 2 adapters for future VGA cards (PCI express), and has a 20+4 pin option. I am kinda of torn, I have been checking up on www.jonnyguru.com about his take on some really good power supply's, but most are out of my league and needs. I want dual rail (20A+20A), and 460W total wattage supplied with, > 80% effiecieny. I want to get an Enermax, but the model I want has a Fan RPM gauge right in the middle and I am worried it will interfere with my Dell case. Would any of you guys have some pointers on which one would be good for my rig? The current power supply is an 8A 250Watt off name brand, temporarily it is getting the job done.

RE: Power Supply for AthlonXP
I'm afraid I can't recommend a dual rail PSU from experience... my last purchase for the 3700+ /939 Neo2 Platinum combo was a Codegen 550w (Which I've since recapped)
Seasonic have always made robust quality PSU's IMHO, whilst I've heard really positive things about the Tagan and Enermax units, have you been looking into a modular style PSU?

I realize what you are saying is somewhat true Taz. Why does an Athlon XP really need dual rails? Certainly.,when the highest GFX card it can manage is a Radeon X1950 Pro and a 3200+ processor, and thats nothing for a well made 350Watt power supply. (I fixed the JONNYGURU link in my initial post, sorry it took several people to unmentionable websites )
Enermax DOES make a modular power supply (Liberty series) and by some accounts the caps are a toss up, and I am mainly worried about that. (I'm good with a soldering iron. but not that good )
Taz, was that you at the badcapz.com forum, giving out pointers?
