I just saw a K6III+ 500 on US eBay for $20.00 [BUY IT NOW] & a K6III+ 450 for $39.99... really depends on market demand, have you ever used/seen a K6III+ 500 Jim?

No, I have not. Would snap at that; but for the fact that someone scammed my Visa card, so I had to get it cancelled and get a new one. That creates problems w/ ebay buying, cause Visa only alows 1 number on a Paypal account. Went through this once before, had to cancel my Paypal account and open a new one. Royal pain in the keyster. Nice price for that processor, why didn't you buy it?

That plus shipping was in the vacinity of $48.00 USD (total) translated to aussie dollars that's $64.50, additionally I don't have a paypal account... all my dealings on eBay are with direct deposit ;)

Oh well never mind you could always bid on the 24 off K6-3+/500's that are up for sale on the US site at the moment. They are the ANZ 1.8 V variation and end in 5 days. Anybody want to give a guess on what they are likely to fetch?

The fellow with the 24 CPUs for sale also had 3 separate listings of the 500ANZ CPUs as "BUY IT NOW" - which I did. You are right, though, the prices are all over the board. However, the demand (and price) seems to have cooled somewhat on eBay.

Eeyeww-- just noticed that I gotta up date my sig!
