Death of a Retro Gaming Rig...

Post by tazwegion »

Recently instability issues began to plague my Epox EP-MVP3C2 (remaining SS7) motherboard, RAM checked out fine with Memtest86, CPU, PSU & GFX were all fine too... so I replaced all the nasty Tayeh capacitors I could find...

After I finished, it was better but still wouldn't pass Prime95 or SiSoft's burn in suite without freezing, I was really disappointed it wasn't a capacitor issue :(

It was survived by a GF2 MX400, K62-550, 96Mb of SDRAM & Quantum 4.3Gb HDD...

RIP... EP-MVP3C2 :(
