K6 3+ optimization

Post by davexnet »

Hello fellow-K6 users.
My K6 3+ has been in use troublefree since 1999.
Something that's always been there, but I've never sought help on it
before, (see the attachment) Why is MTTR0 the way it is?

The system consists of this CPU, 256 MB RAM (2 sticks of 128MB)
and the Epox mvp3-gm (with the 2MB bios chip),
ATI Radeon VIVO AGP card

I'm using mxk6crck.exe in autoexec.bat with no arguments.
Using K6speed to display these results.

What's going on?
Appreciate any info.
Dave

It's in Windows 98 SE.
Mxk6crck in the autoexec.bat.

Anything I can try to get more info?
MTRR1 mentions a range of 128MB, but I have 256MB of RAM.
Or is this not related? Something to do with AGP aperture?

Thanks for any info.

I have posted information on this topic before in this forum.

You should go look at the downloads section here on K6Plus to see what else is available.

I personally use WAMonitorII v.57 (with MSRTouch v.3).

Thanks.
