K6-3+ 450 : ACZ, APZ or ATZ?

Post by spacemarine »

Searching for a k6-3+ i have found that not all are ACZ, there are APZ and ATZ versions too

According to that page:
http://www.cpu-world.com/info/id/AMD-K6 ... ation.html

these version have different voltage and limit temperature.

Which one should i choose?

Another question:
which is the difference between ACZ and ACZM?

Thanks in advance for the answer

Never heard of an "ACZM" have to ask KachiWachi or Kalabok that one. Generally speaking the others tend to be pretty much the same, with the ACZ being somewhat more likely to be able to do 600+ Mhz. It is rated for higher voltage and higher temperature than the others. Usually, (not always), you need to use 2.1v for 600Mhz and up.

k Thks for the info, ordering the ACZ now :D

The ACZM anyway was a k6-2+.
I have found written in some post on google that some people think that it was an engineering sample, but it was a vague statement.

Yes. Mine is a K6-II+ 450 ACZM. I believe the specifications are the same as ACZ ones.
