How stable is the AGP interface of ALi Aladdin V chipset?
From I learned, there is Revision E of the chipset in large numbers, but a few Revision G of the chipset was sold near the EOL of the product.
I know that Revision G integrated a tag RAM chip so that Socket 7 external caching range went up considerably, but did ALi finally fix their AGP 2X interface stability with Revision G of the chispet?
NVIDIA Linux graphics device driver notes that Ali Aladdin V AGP interface to be quite buggy to the point their device driver will disable AGP functionality if it sees Aladdin V chipset.
